‘Twas a week before Christmas, with sprinkles in sight,
we gathered the ingredients to bake a delight.
With the smell of Christmas filling the air,
we cooked up a feast with our merry flair.
A dollop of chocolate and a sprinkle of gold,
Our Christmas cakes sparkle so
festive and bold.
Our heart shaped mince pies are so super yummy,
with orange juice pastry to make them taste scrummy.
We melted the chocolate to pour on our treats,
then covered them with glitter, icing and sweets.
I really must say, that it was all so much fun,
nothing beats baking, with my lovely mum!
