Another day, another tassel craft. It’s safe to say I’m slightly addicted to adding tassel around my home! Today I’m sharing my DIY tassel wall hanging tutorial with an easy-to-follow video.
Tassels are a great way of making something more bespoke, and they also make for the best gifts too. If you want to see some of my previous tassel crafts then you can do so here.
DIY rainbow tassel wall hanging
To make this tassel wall hanging, you will need:
- 10 x balls of wool in your chosen colours (it doesn’t have to be a rainbow if you don’t want it to be!)
- A piece of thick card
- 1 x crochet hook
- Scissors

For reference, the wool I bought was from Hobbii, and it was the Rainbow cotton 8/4 pack 09. I found this wool to be perfect for this as it wasn’t too thick and didn’t fray. For each tassel I used an entire ball of wool so that they were extra plump!
I may be slightly obsessed with tassels but this has definitely added a great pop of colour to a bare space of white wall. It hangs perfectly in my bedroom!
