About Gemma
Hi, I’m Gemma! I’m an interior stylist, shoot producer and art director based between London and Sussex. I specialise in interior styling and creative direction for magazines, TV shows, and leading home décor brands. With over a decade of experience in the interiors industry, my career is driven by creativity and visual storytelling with a deep love for beautiful spaces.
Becoming an Interior Stylist
After five years working in visual merchandising for major home retailers like Laura Ashley and Zara Home, I took the leap into freelancing in 2015 and haven’t looked back since. Over the years, I’ve worked across interior styling, set dressing, prop styling, event and interior design. My portfolio ranges from styling editorial and commercial photoshoots for top interior magazines to designing press shows, brand events and large-scale interior projects.
In 2018, I also expanded into television, where I now work regularly as a design producer and art director on popular interior makeover shows like Sort Your Life Out and Interior Design Masters. My role blends creative direction, makeover design and production design, allowing me to bring inspiring concepts to life both on and off screen.

I co-host the popular How to Home Podcast, where I share expert decorating tips and practical design advice with thousands of listeners each week.
