How to Style a Bar Trolley For Halloween
Hey boo-tiful! I’ve got a halloween inspired post that I want to share with you today. I’m sharing my tips and tricks on how to style a bar trolley for Halloween…
Halloween is looming so it’s time to dig out those decorations! I don’t know about you, but after a very crazy 2020 I want to add some excitement in to my home. I’ve been busy decorating the house ready for halloween, and I have very much enjoyed styling my bar trolley for the spooky season.
How to Style a Bar Trolley For Halloween
If you don’t have a bar trolley, no fear! You can always switch up another surface in your home. Perhaps you have a sideboard, console table or bookcase that can be made to look gourd-geous. These simple steps below can be improvised to suit your own home.
Begin by digging out your halloween decorations. If you don’t have already have some then stop by the seasonal aisle on your next food shop in a supermarket. I sourced a rubber mouse, skeleton goblet and some plastic ‘Beware’ banners from Morrisons. All three items came to under £5 – Bargain!
What do you need?
To style a bar trolley, the key equipment that you will need (Halloween or not) is:
- Cocktail shaker
- Decanters
- Drinks tray
- Napkins
- Straws
- Bar/cocktail tools set
- Drinks recipe books
- Alcohol (of course!)
Along with these things, I also have a very fun Neon ‘Bar’ sign which I turn on during the evenings when hosting parties. This was great as it adds a bold pop of red, perfect for halloween!
To create my spooky ‘mixing station’ (that’s what I’m calling it now), I began by digitally designing a ‘Hocus Pocus’ print and arranged for it to be printed in A2 at my local print shop.
If you want, feel free to download the following image and do the same! Adding this print instantly gives a halloween spin on my bar trolley area, as though it’s a witches mixing station…
The accessories can be styled on a nice tray with some napkins, then use decorations and banners to continue the halloween theme.
On the lower shelf is where I store the good stuff… I display all of the bottles in a large moroccan bowl to make them look less messy.
See, it’s really very simple with a few bargain decorations and a halloween inspired print. I love switching up the decor in my home because I like to keep it looking fresh.
